Good golf starts
with good people.

Private-club members can welcome fellow members and golfers who don’t belong to a private club. Keep personal connections free, or meet more hosts through the guest subscription being prepared.

  1. 01

    Keep your personal connections free.

Share an invitation with a golfer you meet. Connect, message and request a round through that personal connection, whether or not you belong to a private club. No subscription is required.

  2. 02

Discover more hosts with guest access.

For golfers without a private-club membership, a Network Guest subscription will unlock broader host discovery and round requests with members who opt in. Messaging opens once a host agrees to the introduction.

  3. 03

Let each host set the welcome.

Private-club hosts pass a membership check, set their preferences and choose whom to host. Agree on the details together, then let your host arrange the booking under the club’s guest rules.

A THOUGHTFUL WAY FORWARD

Moving systems means carrying forward the details your club depends on. Our planned onboarding approach starts with your people, records, and operating rules. Start with one ready workflow, then expand when your team is ready.

A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Before
you tee off.

What’s available, what’s next, and how the pieces fit together.

What can I use today?

The golfer beta includes named trips, email invitations, shared responsibilities, local-time calendars, reviewed booking imports, expenses, Match, and Club Network. Add your photo, club affiliation, handicap details, and bio in your account. Club management is available for private testing.

Can TheBigTee automatically book my tee times?

Automatic reservations remain in development. Today, Book a tee time helps you find courses, open verified booking pages, and check live availability on supported connections. Course coverage varies. Complete your reservation with the course and add its confirmation to your plans.

What happens when I upload a receipt or Airbnb confirmation?

The beta reads supported PDFs and PNG, JPEG, or WebP images and presents extracted details for your review. Correct anything missing, choose the travelers and costs, and decide what to add to the trip. HEIC images are not currently supported. An Airbnb listing or invitation link does not connect your account or supply private reservation details; add the reservation document as well. Recording a payment does not transfer money.

What can I do in Match?

Choose stroke play, match play, best ball, a scramble, or Stableford. Select your golfers, review shared handicap details, and build balanced, similar-handicap, rotating, or manual pairings. Scores and results stay with the trip. Saved Handicap Indexes and card details are not an official GHIN lookup, playing handicap calculation, or score-posting service.

Do I need a country-club membership to use Club Network?

No. Private-club members can choose to host golfers who do not belong to a private club. Personal invitations, connections, messages and round requests through those connections remain free. If a member invites you to connect, you do not need a guest subscription to keep that friendship or request a round together.

What will the Network guest subscription unlock?

For golfers without a private-club membership, Network Guest will unlock broader discovery of eligible member hosts and hosted-round requests. Messaging opens once a host agrees to the introduction. Hosts must pass the private-club membership check and opt in to receiving subscriber requests. Guest subscription access is being prepared, and pricing is not finalized. Free personal connections will stay free.

Does a subscription guarantee a round at a private club?

No. Club membership or a guest subscription does not guarantee that a host will accept your request, grant membership at another club or reserve a tee time. Each host chooses whom to host. After agreeing on a plan, the host arranges the booking under the club’s guest rules.

Does adding my club verify my membership?

Adding a club during account setup records your affiliation. The saved affiliation is self-reported. Network membership checks and club access approvals are separate. It does not grant a club workspace, staff role, booking privilege, or Network discovery eligibility. You can update your club and bio later in My Account.

Do the app and club management use the same account?

TheBigTee uses a shared account identity with separate permissions. The club approves member and staff access. Trip organizers control their trips, and golfers choose their Network connections. Creating an account does not grant access to a club workspace or another person’s trip.

How far along is club management?

The standalone suite is in private test beta, with saved workflows for daily operations, tee sheets, members, staff, activities, facilities, and club setup. Test-ledger spending views do not connect to a bank. Live payments, tipping, payouts, external software sync, and general club rollout remain ahead. See the club management overview.

How much will it cost?

Public pricing, including the optional Network guest subscription, has not been finalized. Personal Network connections remain free. TheBigTee software pricing, club membership dues, and any optional club-controlled booking benefit will be explained separately. The $200 quarterly minimum shown above is a fictional member requirement, not a software price.

Can my club move from its current system?

The planned onboarding process includes reviewing your current system, mapping records, validating imports, training staff, and agreeing on a controlled transition. Support for a particular system must be confirmed during that review.

Can I sign in with Google, Microsoft, or Apple?

Email-and-password signup is available, with email verification. Google, Microsoft, and Apple sign-in are planned and will appear when their individual connections are ready.
